The Devon Elevation Fund success for The Pet Carpenter

Devon Elevation Fund success

We are incredibly pleased to announce some exciting company news of success for The Pet Carpenter from the Devon Elevation Fund.

Background to the Devon Elevation Fund

Since the fire at our previous workshop in October 2021 The Pet Carpenter team have been working incredibly hard to ensure the business survives to continue serving pets and owners with bespoke furniture. Since moving into our new workshop in the South Hams we were given the opportunity to apply for a UK Government grant scheme. This scheme is delivered by Devon County Council through the Devon Elevation Fund Community Renewal Fund (DEF). Following our application we are incredibly pleased to inform our community that we have been successful in being awarded a grant to support our growth plans.

How is the Funding helping us

The funding that has been awarded is currently helping our business to re-establish itself and grow to serve new customers. With the addition of a CNC machine in due course we will also enhance our ability to deliver more complimentary products to the pet and home furniture market giving our customers more ability to customise their furniture.

Over the coming months we will share updates on how we are progressing. We are really excited about the activities we have planned. We hope you are able to join us in welcoming the good news following a fair few months of trying times for both our business and team colleagues. It’s certainly onwards and upwards and the bump in the road for our still very young business certainly makes us stronger and more determined than ever.

So if you love what we do please do have a browse of our shop or drop us an email and we will be happy help you design your dream piece of pet furniture.

With special thanks to the Devon Elevation Fund (DEF), Devon County Council and UK Government.
